Our electronic dog fence systems keep an eye on your pet by transmitting our exclusive SafeLink® FM radio signal through a buried underground wire installed around your yard. A lightweight waterproof receiver worn on your pet’s collar picks up the signal. Your DogWatch Dealer will adjust the range that suits your pet and your property. When your pet gets too close to the boundary of the underground dog fence, an audible warning reminds your dog or cat not to cross. If the warning is ignored — rare after training — the collar emits a mild stimulation.

A pet containment system from Dogwatch is a radio pet fence that uses an electronic radio signal. Our underground dog fence keeps your pet IN a designated containment area, such your backyard or OUT of an area like your garden — but it’s not an electric dog fence! All pet fencing systems are a form of electronic dog fence and should not be mistakenly referred to as an electric fence that contains livestock with an electrified wire. How quickly does a system react if your dog tries to run through it?

DogWatch receivers have the fastest reaction time in the pet containment industry. Our FastReact™ feature responds in less than one eighth of a second (.125 second). If your pet challenges the boundary, the receiver reacts before he reaches the wire, not while traveling over it.
